About LAF

About us:

Latin America Fund brings together nonprofit organizations working to meet Latin America's needs in many areas of critical importance including conservation, food, health, human rights and development. A 501(C)(3) tax-exempt organization, LAF is dedicated to the premise that solving Latin America's problems requires a multidisciplinary approach.

Our mission is twofold: to support our member organizations working on the ground in Latin America, and to educate the U.S. public about the complex and broad nature of Latin America's problems and the diversity of organizations helping to solve these problems.

LAF is governed by an independent Board of Directors and is supported by an Advisory Committee.
